About

Cabra Community College is a college of the City of Dublin Education Training Board (CDETB) and the school is included in the Delivering Equality of in Education (DEIS) scheme. Cabra Community College provides courses such as the Junior Certificate, Leaving Certificate, Post Leaving Certificate (PLC), Adult Leaving Certificate the Vocational Training Opportunity Scheme (VTOS), the Back to Education Initiative (BTEI), community literacy schemes and an extensive range of night classes.

Cabra Community College, formally Colaiste Eanna was first opened in 1945 by the City of Dublin VEC (now CDETB) as a vocational school for the boys and girls of Cabra. It was the first ever co-educational school of its kind in Ireland. Cabra Community College is a dynamic vibrant school situated in the heart of the community in Cabra, Co Dublin. It is 10 minutes from the centre of Dublin with easy access to the M50 and M1.

The school has greatly expanded its range of courses in the intervening period. It now provides education for second level students and adult students. We recognise the need for ongoing growth and development in order to meet the changing needs of our students. In this era of lifelong learning the college is committed to responding to the needs of the students and the community.
